Lewandowski is pushing Poland to the top of group E

Robert Lewandowski is by far the more well-known player in the Poland national team as he is a regular starter in Bayern Munich and widely considered to be the as most talented footballer that has emerged from Poland in the past decade.

The 28 year old player is the captain of Poland and he has been scoring goals at a consistent basis not only for Bayern Munich but for his national squad as well. It’s because of this that Robert Lewandowski was recently named as the best Polish footballer of 2016 for the past 6 years in a row.

Poland are currently at the top spot of Group E as the head coach Adam Nawalka and his squad have collected 10 points from their 4 opening qualification matches. From these games, Poland scored 10 goals and Lewandowski was the man that netted 7 of those goals.

It’s pretty obvious that Lewandowski is the most influential player in the Poland national squad and this is huge for the Polish team as they are attempting to qualify for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Poland did not manage to qualify for neither the 2010 nor the 2018 FIFA World Cup but are eager to get back into the worldwide competition. If Adam Nawalka and his team are able to continue their positive start and finish in the top spot of Group E then it will be enough to qualify which is something that they have not been able to do in over 10 years.

Montenegro are the next opponents of Poland as they are scheduled to face off on March 26 of the ongoing year and supporters of the Polish national squad are hoping that the team of Adam Nawalka can continue collecting points at a consistent basis.
