FABREGAS REVEALS WHY HE JOINED CHELSEA IN 2014

Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fàbregas says he was convinced in a move to Chelsea over a move to former side Arsenal after one encounter with then manager José Mourinho. He also revealed that he snubbed the advances of Manchester United and Real Madrid.


The former Spain international left Arsenal to join his boyhood club in 2011. After a long transfer saga, Barca finally got Fabregas After two years of trying. Three years after leaving the Emirates stadium, the midfielder wanted a reunion with former club Arsenal. He captained the club before he departed in 2011. He stated that Arsenal was the first club on his mind when he decided to leave Barcelona. But then Arsenal manager Arsenal Wenger left the Spaniard hanging according to the player.
