Poland’s best opportunity to hit the back of the net came in the first half of the game when a low cross from Kedziora saw Piatek connect it straight to the Dutch goalkeeper. In the last edition of the Nations League, they had finished at the bottom of their group which comprised Italy and Portugal. Their performance in the Euro qualifiers this year was good as they finished on top of the pool. Poland is currently 19th in the FIFA rankings.
