Poland on the brink of qualification

Poland is currently on the brink of qualification and currently top their qualifying tables.

Indeed Poland who are found in the same group as Montenegro, Denmark, Romania, Armenia and Kazakhstan. Poland is currently top of the group with 19 points followed by Montenegro on 16 points.

Poland has been an exciting team to watch during the qualification and there are no doubts that they will be present at the finals.

Indeed they have been able to count on a great striker such as Robert Lewandowski to help them in the tough games against Denmark and Montenegro.

Polish fans are already preparing themselves to be part of the Russian World Cup but Robert Lewandowski have recently warned them that things will not be easy at the finals. He said that they will be facing some tough opponents there and it is important that they remain focus on their objectives. (more…)

Lewandowski is pushing Poland to the top of group E

Robert Lewandowski is by far the more well-known player in the Poland national team as he is a regular starter in Bayern Munich and widely considered to be the as most talented footballer that has emerged from Poland in the past decade.

The 28 year old player is the captain of Poland and he has been scoring goals at a consistent basis not only for Bayern Munich but for his national squad as well. It’s because of this that Robert Lewandowski was recently named as the best Polish footballer of 2016 for the past 6 years in a row.

Poland are currently at the top spot of Group E as the head coach Adam Nawalka and his squad have collected 10 points from their 4 opening qualification matches. From these games, Poland scored 10 goals and Lewandowski was the man that netted 7 of those goals. (more…)

Manuel Pellegrini managerial Position in Danger

Barcelona knocked out Manchester City from the Champions League and now the pressure is starting to build on to Manuel Pellegrini as the manager could be seeing his way out of the Etihad Stadium if the team fails to win any major trophy in this season.

Chelsea still remains in the top spot of the Premier League and the team of Jose Mourinho depends on themselves if they want to win the top tier English League in this season.

Ronald de Boer is a former Ajax player as well as the brother of Frank de Boer who is currently coaching Ajax. Frank de Boer is going through a splendid time as the manager of Ajax as he has guided the club to 4 successive Eredivisie and Ronald de Boer has now stated that his brother Frank de Boer would be interested in taking charge of Manchester City if the opportunity presents itself but only after 2016.

Ronald de Boer said: “Frank would be interested in managing Manchester City in the future. He’s already said he will stay at Ajax until 2016. If Manchester City or Barcelona comes for him he will still stay at Ajax. After that 2016, he is ready to take on a job like that.” (more…)
