Robert Lewandowski is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The Polish international is regarded as one of the top centre forwards in world football. Signed by Pep Guardiola, he continues to play an integral role in the team. Lewandowski still has a contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2019. However, Bayern Munich are thought to be concerned about the increasing transfer rumours linking Lewandowski with a move to Manchester City. It will reunite the forward with Guardiola, as he looks to increase his forward options at the new club.
As a result, Bayern Munich are ready to offer a new contract to the player who is already one of the highest earners at the club. Lewandowski came to Bayern on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund and he has already won the Bundesliga twice.
