Napoli have reclaimed top spot in the Italian Serie A following their late win over Torino when the two teams met at the StadioArmando Maradona on Sunday.

The Luciano Spalletti-led side had to do it the hard way to re-establish a two-point lead over AC Milan. On Saturday, AC Milan came from two goals down at the half-time break to score three second half goals andbeat Hellas Verona 3-2 at home. The comeback win took Milan above Napoli by one point. Wolfsburg stunned Robert Lewandowski and his Bayern Munich teammates when they took the lead at the Allianz Arena as early as the fifth minute through Maximilian Philip. Bayern Munich had to wait till the dying moments of the first half to level proceedings and it was Robert Lewandowski who got the equaliser to maintain his scoring form against Wolfsburg. The Poland hitman added his brace five minutes into the second half and that proved to be the winning goal of the game for the Bavarian giants who were able to inflict the first defeat of the season on VFL Wolfsburg. Before the game, league leaders Bayer Leverkusen and VFL Wolfsburg were the only teams without a defeat in the German Bundesliga this season and the slender defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich left table toppers Bayer Leverkusen as the only Bundesliga team without a loss in the league this season.
